Many of our employees and several of our client's employees came together to donate to Fluff Animal Rescue with their Hurricane Florence and Michael animal relief efforts. Many members of our staff and their families formed a team to support Mortan plant Hospital with their Rock the Ribbon 5K and 10K event. This event's proceeds went to Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer research. Our team and company match raised $2300.
We had a successful adjuster conference in Houston and Dallas earlier this month. We would like to thank all of the attendees, sponsors and speakers.

March 2018 - NEW TEAM MEMBER!
Nordé Battle comes to us with over 25 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He began his Insurance career working as a Multi-Line Staff Adjuster for Guideone Insurance Company. He worked there for 17 years and was promoted to several positions including Branch Property Supervisor, Property Catastrophe Coordinator and National Property Supervisor. Nordé then branched out on his own and contracted with Several Insurance Companies to offer Inside Examining services. These companies include Zurich Insurance, American First Insurance. For the last 4 years Nordé has been a dependable asset to our company working for us in the Independent Adjusting and QA Capacity. His claim handling experience includes Homeowner’s, Complex Commercial Property, Catastrophe, Auto, Appraisals and Liability claims, as well as SIU Investigations. He has experience handling claims from start to finish and has in depth experience with complex claims involving attorneys or carrier represented files. Nordé studied Business Management at Southwestern Adventist University and studied Property Estimating at Southern Farm Burau Tech.
The month of January 2018 was a busy one for the WTA/SCS team as they added 3 people to the team! While these people had worked with the company in the past, we were excited to welcome each of them on-board as a permanent member of the team!
Sissy Abbarno has joined our team in the accounting department. Sissy comes to us with twenty years’ experience providing bookkeeping and financial services. She began her career in the hospitality industry providing payroll, record keeping and accounting services. She transitioned into the education field as both a Teaching Aide, Home School Administrator and Substitute Teacher for several years. She has provided bookkeeping services for a variety of companies including those in the Medical Billing, Medical Credentialing and Construction Industries. Most recently, Sissy has been Self-Employed, providing her financial services to a book of clients. She developed a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures for her clients.
Jason Hood joined our team as a QA Manager. Jason comes to us with over 16 years of experience beginning his Insurance career working as a Casualty Adjuster for Crawford & Company in Dallas, TX. Since 2001 Jason has worked for SCS and Associates, AmeriClaim, HomeWise Insurance Company, Florida Family Insurance and ICA. He has also worked as an Independent contractor for various firms including ours. Jason has held several roles as a Claims Adjuster and Claims Manager. His claim handling experience includes Homeowner’s, Commercial Property and Liability claims, as well as Ocean and Inland Marine. He handled a large claim volume during Hurricane Charlie, Hurricane Wilma and Hurricane Ike and has in depth experience with complex claims involving PA’s and attorneys. Jason has a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University and has earned his AIC designation. He is also licensed as an adjuster in nearly every state that requires licensure.
Paul Clark was added as Director of Commercial Claims. Paul comes to us with over 30 years of experience as an Insurance Professional. He began his career as an agent for Prudential Insurance Company in 1985. He transitioned into claims in 1995 with Safeco Insurance Company and has built his claims knowledge serving in various leadership roles with Safeco, Traveler’s, Nationwide, Homeowners Choice and Olympus Insurance companies. Paul has a Business degree from Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky and has earned his stripes as an adjuster; both auto and property, large loss, claims manager, litigation specialist, catastrophic manager, commercial claims specialist and Director during his 30 plus years in the industry while specializing in property claims.
